He is probably a guitarist in some band and loves music a lot to start ‘playing’ on the bus!

I noticed this guy as he board the bus before me and sat on a seat facing everyone else. His bag was on his lap and the right hand in front and the left hand behind on his laps.

Attire —- (like a punk)

Looks —-
====== orange color (highlighted) spiked hair
====== moustache above the lips and chin
====== looked abit like the singer – Jay Chou

Halfway through the ride, he suddenly started moving his right hand up and down, as if drumming on a guitar. As he went on, his drumming get even vigorous. Then, his left hand started to move too. His left hand serves as the beat for the drumming. His leg was shaking a little too, to keep up with the beat by his left hand. He continued this for a few more seconds, each second even vigorously. Then, he stopped after a while and alighted soon after that.

Reason for observing him:
–> Seldom see someone who really get caught up in his music so engrossed and started ‘performing’ in public like this…

Person B:
Name: Zhi Wei

He is probably thinking of his assignment or even writing in his diary! (mugger!!!)

The second person I observed is also a guy – a typical polytechnic or university student. He was sitting at the front of the bus, facing everyone as well. His bag was beside him and a notebook was placed on his lap with a pen in his hand.

======= a little spiked up hair
======= a little nerdy

He was writing on a little notepad when i board the bus. The first time i noticed him looking up, he shook his leg a little and turned the head around a little. Then, the second time he looked up again, he shook his hand a a little as well. The third time he looked up, he turned his head a big round to look around him. He also alighted soon after that at the NUS bus-stop.

Reason for observing him:
–> its interesting how he looks around in the bus with the little movements…

Story:

Leonard boards the bus and sits beside this nerdy guy calls Zhi Wei. He slams his bag onto his laps as he plops down hard on the seat. Zhi Wei turns and looks at him. Leonard, oblivious to the staring, eases himself comfortably on the seat. He starts to shake his hands a little, following the beat from the music playing in his ears from his MP3 player. Then, he shakes vigorously as if drumming on a guitar. This time, Zhi Wei turns and stares at him hard.

‘Excuse me, you are disrupting me with your actions!”

Leonard retorts, ‘I’m so sorry, but my hands just couldn’t keep to my side. I bet you don’t know about this kind of things…”

“Who says I don’t, I plays musical instrument too, k?’ Zhi Wei says.

“Oh really, what you play? I play the guitar and drums.” Then, Leonard begins to demonstrate with an imaginary drum set.

Zhi Wei hesitates for a while, “Well, guess this!” He then put his hands out and plays on his imaginary musical instrument.

Leonard laughs out loud, “I know, you learnt that in primary school, right? Everybody knows that, for goodness sake – it’s just a recorder.”
